NEW ISRAELI RECORD SET AT CSWC ISRAEL AS AMI COHEN CLAIMS NATIONAL TITLE
For the second consecutive year, Esh-Ly Cigars & Tobacco hosted Israel’s official qualifier for the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC), culminating in a remarkable new national record.
The championship, supported by Esh-Ly Cigars & Tobacco, Oliva Cigars, Loch Lomond Whisky, and Cigar Magazine Israel, began with four CSWC league sessions that allowed participants to refine their skills and prepare for competition.
The semifinal was held at Harmoni Lounge Tel Aviv, where 20 competitors took part in a test of patience, precision, and control. The winning time of 1 hour and 17 minutes secured a place in the national final.
One week later, the championship moved to Harmoni Lounge Glilot for the decisive round. In a tense and highly competitive atmosphere, Ami Cohen delivered an outstanding performance, setting a new Israeli CSWC record of 1 hour and 47 minutes and claiming the national title.
Cohen demonstrated exceptional technique, composure, and consistency throughout the competition, further highlighting the growing strength of Israel’s cigar community on the international stage.
Following his victory, Cohen, owner of a cigar lounge in Netanya, said it was a great honor to help promote cigar culture and represent Israel at the CSWC World Final, scheduled to take place this August in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
With a new national benchmark established, Israel continues to strengthen its position within the global CSWC community and the world of premium cigars.
