Oliver, a strong contender, gave an impressive performance, staying close to Walter for a significant portion of the competition. Despite Walter eventually pulling ahead, Oliver managed to secure second place with a personal best time, breaking into the elite ranks of the top 20 slow smokers worldwide. His satisfaction was evident as he celebrated this significant achievement.

The contest for third place was a nail-biter, featuring a fierce duel between Matthias and Patricia. Patricia, a former women's world champion and a seasoned competitor, was patiently waiting for Matthias to make a mistake. Matthias, performing at one of his best levels, seemed poised to take third place. However, Patricia's experience and persistence paid off as she seized the opportunity when Matthias faltered, clinching third place in the championship.
