An amazing qualifier took place at the Apiary Private Club, setting the best time in the USA so far.

CSWC is heating up in the USA. After a few qualifiers already took place, the event in Omaha at the beautiful private club Apiary delivered the best time so far in the country.
It was great to see Mr. Anthony Goins, one of the co-owners of Apiary, in such high spirits, leading the excitement alongside CSWC founder Marko Bilic, who is on a USA tour with one of the most active CSWC judges, Michael McMeeknan
The competition kicked off with some great slow-burning cigars, but from the start, it was clear that one competitor stood out – Nivar J.M. Sinclar. The young newcomer quickly took the lead, and even though it was his first official slow-smoking race, it was obvious he had prepared well, likely with some training beforehand.

Throughout the race, while other newcomers briefly took the lead from Nivar, he stayed steady and kept building his advantage. In the final third, it was clear he’d take the win – and he did, finishing in 2 hours and 21 minutes of race-smoking. With a comfortable lead, he secured his first victory, ahead of second-place Elie, who kept a strong, consistent pace to stay ahead of third-place Joe, finishing in 1 hour and 47 minutes. Joe claimed his spot with a time of 1 hour and 20 minutes after Nathen, who had been handling a tough competition cigar impressively, made a risky move and burned his ring, earning a hefty 15-minute penalty.
The night was full of excitement and emotion, ending with celebratory cigars that lasted long into the evening. All was set for the anticipation of the next day’s race at the Capital Cigar Lounge in Lincoln, Nebraska.
