Croatian Champion and record-holder Ivan Zizic has once again demonstrated his unmatched expertise in competitive cigar smoking, achieving an impressive 2 hours and 30 minutes with the second test of Oliva’s competition cigar first tasting samples. This marks the second time Zizic has reached this milestone, showcasing both his skill and the growing potential of Oliva’s cigars in the competitive arena.

Zizic's recent test is crucial for Oliva's competition cigars, which, though still in their fess rolled stage, are already showing promise. During his 2.5-hour smoking session, Zizic praised the cigar for its rich, well-balanced flavor profile. He described the experience as truly enjoyable, with a consistent, smooth taste from start to finish. This is a key sign that Oliva’s cigars are developing into serious contenders in the slow-smoking community.

However, Zizic did note that the burn was a bit unpredictable—something to be expected from cigars that are still being fine-tuned. This minor issue is understandable, given that these are fresh prototypes still undergoing for aging and prepearing to be ready for competition. Zizic found this cigar’s burn to be slightly challenging at times which can be due to freshness. Despite this, the overall experience was exceptional, with Zizic focusing on the cigar’s excellent flavor and overall smoking experience.

This test didn’t come without its challenges. During the session, Zizic was interrupted by club members at Cigar Club Mareva, eager to discuss his slow-smoking technique and share their thoughts on the cigar. While these conversations were certainly welcome, they did add a level of distraction to Zizic’s concentration. Yet, Zizic showed his professionalism, navigating the distractions while maintaining his steady pace throughout the 2 hours and 30 minutes of smoking. His ability to stay focused under these conditions speaks volumes about both his skill and the consistency of the Oliva competition cigar.

This second test is a significant step in the development of Oliva’s competition cigars. Though still in the early stages, the cigars have already proven themselves capable of delivering rich flavors and long-lasting smoke. The burn is a work in progress, but the cigar is clearly heading in the right direction, thanks to the careful development by the Oliva team.

For Oliva team, Zizic’s results highlight the potential of the competition cigars to not only perform well in the hands of seasoned competitors but to also evolve into a product that could set new standards in the world of competitive cigar smoking. With each test, Zizic is helping refine the cigars, ensuring that when they hit the market, they’ll be ready to compete at the highest level.

For Oliva, this is just the beginning of a exciting and promising journey to the top of the competitive smoking world.
