The Lagos Cigar Festival (LCThe Lagos Cigar Festival (LCF) is Nigeria’s premier premium cigar event and a landmark platform within the global cigar community.
Founded and organized by Select Source Nigeria Limited (Source Cigars)—the trademark and copyright owners of the event—LCF was co-founded by Mr. Francis Omene, who serves as the principal driving force behind the festival’s vision and international positioning. The platform was established to unite cigar aficionados, international brands, distributors, and luxury lifestyle stakeholders within a structured African framework.
The inaugural edition was successfully held on December 27, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, marking a historic milestone as:
The first premium cigar festival in Nigeria.
The first cigar festival on the West African coast.
The first large-scale cigar festival on the African continent.
This groundbreaking debut successfully positioned Lagos as a strategic gateway for the premium cigar industry’s expansion into Africa.
The second edition of the Lagos Cigar Festival is scheduled to take place on December 27–28, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria. It is projected to expand significantly in scale, international participation, and global brand integration.
To achieve this goal, CSWC (Cigar Smoking World Championship) will support the event by hosting the first-ever CSWC qualifier in Nigeria, powered by LCF. Furthermore, CSWC has facilitated a major connection between the Lagos Cigar Festival and Intertabac, the official global partner of the CSWC. With Intertabac’s involvement, the Lagos Cigar Festival is set to reach unprecedented heights.
