Pipe World and Texas now have their first champion. The event was a great success, and Pipe World proved to be a perfect venue for the race, filled with amazing people.

CSWC arrived at Pipe World for the first time in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas. From the moment one steps into the Pipe World lounge, it is clear that this place is something special. Operating for over 40 years and founded by Mr. Kyle Haass, the lounge offers more than just an amazing atmosphere; it is a place where a true cigar family has been established, and where passion for cigar culture truly lives. The stunning walk-in humidor, the elegant cigar accessories and pipe tobacco shop, and the inviting back-lounge space created the perfect setting for the first CSWC race in Texas.

All competitors were welcomed by Mr. Tyler Jeffery, the young and successful manager of Pipe World, followed by the charming and charismatic Mr. Trenton Smith, with an amazing personality, the Oliva representative for Texas. Marko Bilić and Michael were on hand to explain the rules and share a few words with the newcomers regarding the CSWC on the global stage. Prior to the event, Garrison Brothers—a local Texas bourbon company that started small and is now conquering the world—welcomed all participants with their incredible bourbon.
The race started smoothly, with several participants performing very well from the beginning. The only lady in the competition Yolanda, was doing great and held the lead for the first third of the game. Everyone focused on keeping their ash intact for the first 40 minutes, which most competitors successfully achieved, before the secondary goal shifted to beating the record time from Los Angeles.
As the field narrowed, the race became tense. In the end, after an amazing smoke, John Kauffman claimed the victory. As a newcomer, he achieved an impressive time of 1 hour and 36 minutes and 47 seconds. Behind him was one of his friends, Mr Cameron who also performed at a top level but unfortunately lost his smoke at 1 hour and 20 minutes 9 seconds. Taking third place was Jake, who finished with an outstanding time of 1 hour and 19 minutes 25 seconds.
