CSWC BY OLIVA CIGARS IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA HAS RAISED A NEW SLOW-SMOKING STAR

For the second year in a row, Capital Cigar Lounge in Lincoln, Nebraska delivered everything the CSWC stands for—amazing excitement, genuine friendship, and of course, new surprises and rising stars.

The CSWC by Oliva Cigars in Lincoln, Nebraska introduced a new name and star to the CSWC world – Brooklyn. Capital Cigar Lounge, led by the one and only Anthony Goins, hosted another amazing competition filled with fun, excitement, true rivalry, and the celebration of international friendship and camaraderie.

With Anthony, Marko Bilic, Michael McMkanen the official CSWC judge, and Max Meinstoc, the capital lounge manager, the slow smoking race went superbly. The event drew a full house, including returning competitors from last year and new faces. Some participants started too slow and lost their cigars within the first 30 minutes, which is normal – sometimes winning a slow smoking race means taking risks and pushing limits. Many smokers passed the magic one-hour mark, but a few went further.

One standout competitor, Brooklyn Hanks, became one with his cigar, and his focus led him to his first victory with an impressive 1 hour and 47 minutes. Behind him were Jeremy Wright with 1 hour and 27 minutes, and Mark Rock with 1 hour and 15 minutes, earning second and third places respectively.

It was great to see last year’s champion, Edie Lancaster, come to honor the competitors and support their efforts. The night carried on into the late hours with celebrations, good cigars, and shared stories among friends. Thanks to his outstanding performance, Brooklyn received a wild card from Marko Bilic and will represent the USA at the Grand Final in Dubrovnik.
