After five years of CSWC tradition in Slovakia, Roberto Resmer, the CSWC director for Slovakia, decided to enhance the CSWC experience for all participants.
A beautiful castle in the forest, luxury cars, and prestigious Cuervo y Sobrinos watches, paired with black tie and gala dresses, champagne, and cocktails – need anything more be said? That was the atmosphere of this year’s Slovakian CSWC. Roberto Resmer and his team elevated CSWC Slovakia to a new level, blending lifestyle with the elegance of a James Bond–style competition.
The CSWC by Oliva Cigars Slovakia 2026 was hosted in the breathtaking Pallavicini Manor. With passionate competitors in attendance, the event radiated a truly unique and unforgettable vibe.
The competition brought the heat – with fresh newcomers, familiar talents, and legendary figures from Slow Smoke Slovakia coming together for a race that leads to the Grand Final in August in Croatia.
The competition began with a rundown of the rules and a reminder of common mistakes to steer clear of. Right from the start, the competitors put on stellar performances, making it an exciting, edge-of-your-seat showdown. A big highlight for our local community this year was the remarkable depth of talent—an amazing 11 competitors broke the 1-hour barrier!
And yes – boom! One of the legends made a big comeback – former double champion of Slovakia, Peter Novysedlák, claimed his third title. He was outstanding, fully focused, and executed a great strategy to dominate the competition. Second place went to seasoned Grand Finale veteran, Richard Tlučko, while third was secured by Samuel Moravčík, representing the promising new generation of the Slovakian community.
