CSWC CYPRUS 2025 – CHAMPION VADIM BOCAROV DEFENDS HIS CROWN IN STYLE!

The Mediterranean heat wasn’t the only thing burning in Cyprus on competition night — the CSWC 2025 Cyprus Qualifier brought the fire and elegance of slow smoking to a whole new level.
Held in the stunning Ligero Cigar Shop & Lounge, one of Cyprus’ most elegant cigar destinations, the event was flawlessly organized by Christos Philotheou, our official CSWC judge, in collaboration with Constantinos Theodorou and the entire Ligero team.
This amazing place , with its top-tier cigar selection and beautifully designed lounge, provided the perfect arena for the nation’s top competitors to face off in the ultimate test of patience, precision, and passion.
From the very beginning, it was clear that this would be a night to remember. And it was Vadim Bocarov, the reigning national champion, who once again proved his mastery. With an impressive time of 1 hour, 51 minutes, Vadim defended his title and showed the consistency and skill of a true CSWC veteran.
Second place went to Marinos Kaitis, whose result of 1 hour, 37 minutes showed class and potential for the international stage. The third place spot was earned by Oleg Lemzyakov, who put up a strong 1 hour, 23 minutes and secured his place among Cyprus’ finest slow smokers.
The event was a true celebration of cigar culture, friendship, and elite competition — proudly supported by Big Smoke Cyprus, a name synonymous with cigar excellence on the island.
With Cyprus now firmly on the global CSWC map, all eyes turn to Split, Croatia, where the champions will meet again — and Vadim will look to bring the heat from the island to the world stage.
