At the Grand Final 2025 in Split, two outstanding contributors were recognized with the prestigious CSWC Diamond Leaf Awards — one of the highest honors in the world of slow smoking.

The Italian Team, led by Enrico Maria Puglisi and CSWC ambassador Gino Iannillo, received the Diamond Leaf Award for the Best Qualification Event of 2025.

Their two-day CSWC Festival in Bergamo became an instant legend — a flawless blend of Italian charm, organizational mastery, and pure cigar passion.

Competitors and Italian judges from across Italy gathered for an event that redefined how a national qualification should look and feel. From a stunning gala dinner with special cigar presentations to a luxury morning session featuring ultra-limited cigars paired with an elegant breakfast, everything reflected the dedication of the Italian CSWC family.

Supported by the national judge team who made an amazing prequalifying season like no other — Aurelio, Alberto, Fabio, Francesco and ambassador Gino— Enrico transformed the final Italian event into a model of excellence.

For years, Ana has played a crucial role in spreading the championship globally — linking the world of cigars with the world of luxury through her professionalism, grace, and unique connections.

As a Master of Ceremony and one of the most recognizable faces of CSWC, she has represented the championship’s spirit of elegance, unity, and friendship across continents.

Her dedication has been instrumental in the growth of both CSWC and Club Mareva, helping the championship reach the level of international prestige it enjoys today.

A MOMENT OF LEGENDS

This year’s Diamond Leaf Awards ceremony was made even more meaningful by the presence of two true legends of the CSWC family — Petteri Patjas and Ivan Mazuranic — who had the honor of presenting the awards on stage.

Both men embody the history and values of Club Mareva and the championship itself.

Petteri Patjas , a long-time ambassador of CSWC, was one of the first recipients of the Diamond Leaf Award for Best CSWC Ambassador in the world — a title that recognized his pioneering work and lifelong passion for CSWC and Club Mareva

Ivan Mazuranic, Honorable President of Club Mareva, represents the foundation and tradition of the club where CSWC was born — a symbol of leadership and friendship within the global cigar community.

Their presence on stage transformed the ceremony into a symbolic bridge between CSWC’s origins and its future — a moment where legacy and new achievements stood side by side.

Both honorees — the Italian Team and Ana Roncevic — received exclusive gifts from Cuervo y Sobrinos, S.T. Dupont, and Les Fines Lames, specially crafted for the Diamond Leaf Award winners.

“The Diamond Leaf Award is not only about achievements — it’s about heart, loyalty, and the power of friendship,” said CSWC Founder Marko Bilic. “Enrico, Gino, their Italian team, and Ana are all examples of what makes CSWC so unique: dedication and support, loyalty and friendship that unite people from all over the world.”

The Diamond Leaf Awards 2025 reminded everyone once again — the true beauty of CSWC lies not only in the competition, but in the people who make this global family so extraordinary.
