CSWC OLIVA CIGARS FRESH AND READY FOR SEASON 2026

Oliva has prepared a new batch of the CSWC Racing Oliva cigar for the upcoming 2026 season.

The big question was whether competitors in the 2026 slow smoking season would face Oliva competition cigars rolled in 2025 or a freshly made batch of Oliva CSWC cigars for the 2026 season. It seems they’ll be competing with freshly rolled CSWC Oliva competition cigars in 2026.

What that means is hard to say! We know that aging influences the taste of a cigar, but we’re pretty sure it also affects its burning properties. Of course, there are many other factors that play a big role in this, but this will definitely be an interesting situation to observe.

While Rocky Patel, as the previous official producer of competition cigars, decided from the start to produce a larger batch of competition cigars and use them over the years, Oliva took a different approach. Oliva’s method seems fairer for ones aming for record times on Oliva CSWC cigar, as all new competitors in 2026 will face the same conditions as those who tried the Oliva cigar for the first time last year.

This also means that veterans of the CSWC, and those who’ve already experienced the Oliva cigar, will go through the same challenges again this year, with no advantage from aging.

They’ll need to stay focused at the highest level to push the limits of the Oliva CSWC cigar. Last year, Oliva already achieved average competition times better than any previous competition cigar, and the fact that they’re entering the 2026 season with freshly rolled cigars will keep everyone on their toes. It’s sure to be another super exciting season.
