Papa Havana was an incredible host for the inaugural CSWC qualifier in Albania.

The CSWC made its debut in Albania with an unforgettable show that left a big impact and delivered fantastic smoking experiences. Brought to the country by Club Mareva members Mr. Visary Redzepi and Trim Gashi, and hosted by the incredible Papa Havana cigar shop chain—importers of premium cigars in Albania—guests were warmly welcomed by the owner himself, Mr. Dritan Shyti, whose generosity and energy made a lasting impression.
Special guests included CSWC founder Marko Bilic, marketing director and instructor Dino Tomic, honorable Club Mareva member Ferit Raat, and Dimitry Mirchev from Humidor Company in Croatia.

Last year’s champion from Kosovo, Andy Shkira, came hoping to claim another title and become Albania’s first champion, but faced tough competition from highly motivated Albanian contenders. In a near photo finish, young debutant Marigen Gjata showed incredible focus and determination, edging out Andy by just seconds to claim the historic title.

Andy placed second, visibly disappointed and voicing some complaints, though judges confirmed Marigen’s victory as fair and in true CSWC spirit. Mulaj took third place, only minutes behind.
The event will be remembered as one of the most exciting qualifiers, with over 40 spectators on edge in the final moments, cheering Marigen’s win. A vibrant program of Latin dancing, DJ music, delicious catering, fine cigars, and Chivas 18 made this first CSWC in Albania truly unforgettable.
