This would not have been possible for the CSWC to be organized without Huelcos, and after the events of 2024 and 2025, we can see how crucial technology is to the CSWC and how crucial it is that all finalists have cigars in completely equal competition conditions

As 2025 draws to a close, the greatest times attained with the CSWC Oliva competition cigar—which this year made its debut on racetracks in the hands of competitors worldwide in their quest for the longest time—remain unforgettable. In the 2025 season, the Oliva outperformed the previous Rocky cigar in terms of overall time - Oliva's 2025 season ended at 3:42 minutes, while Rocky's 2024 season ended at 3:35.

But all attention was on the big race, the grand final, where every competitor faced the same conditions, including room temperature and cigar humidity. One of the international CSWC partners played a crucial role in keeping the CSWC at a high technological level, comparable to Formula 1.

Hulecos, a worldwide partner based in Switzerland, is what enables CSWC to handle competition cigars safely and in the conditions in which they should be.
The most crucial aspect is that Hulecos technology guarantees that every finalist cigar is in precisely the same humidity conditions. The previous two Grand Finals have demonstrated the significance of this. All competing cigars had their humidity levels lowered from 68–70% to 60–62%, according to the CSWC organization.

The difficulties in planning the Grand Final weekends time constraints led to the CSWC organizing committees decision. They held the view that the Grand Final is a competition for victory rather than a world record, and that the most crucial element is that every competitor has a competition cigar under the exact same circumstances, demonstrating that the winner is the one who is truly the best. The competitions final time, which in 2024 and 2025 exceeded just over two hours and thirty minutes, has decreased as expected due to the new humidity level in the range of sixty to sixty-two percent.

The Grand Final times were consistently well over three hours at the previous humidity level of 68–70 percent, which significantly complicated the Grand Final programs schedule. The finalists had the chance to compete in the final race under completely equal circumstances, but the time was shortened in this way. This would not have been possible for the CSWC to be organized without Huelcos, and after the events of 2024 and 2025, we can see how crucial technology is to the CSWC and how crucial it is that all finalists have cigars in completely equal competition conditions.

“As part of our ongoing partnership with Marko and the entire CSWC team, we were delighted to once again certify that all cigars used during the Grand Finale were maintained and offered under strictly equivalent conditions. This is a key aspect for us, ensuring a fair competition that truly reflects the spirit of the CSWC. We would also like to highlight the outstanding quality of the event’s organization. The team showed great attention to detail in flawless coordination. Once again, their hard work ensured a smooth-running event, marked by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that further elevated the competition’s prestige and appeal. We warmly congratulate Tomasz on his victory, and we applaud all participants for their dedication and passion throughout this Grand Finale. We will, of course, be back next year, continuing to bring our expertise in cigar preservation and supporting once again the excellence of this unique event.” - Christophe Béchade, Hulecos
CSWC is pleased that Huelcos provides that CSWC competition to be on a level with the biggest international sports, like Formula 1, where the use of technology is viewed as an addition that raises competitors' skill levels and reduces the impact of pure chance..
