As the women's vice champion of the world in 2025 and defending her title as Reunion Champion, Sabrina proved she had entered the big league

In Reunion Island, the CSWC BY OLIVA event served as a true confirmation by crowning Sabrina Fontaine-Monetti for the second consecutive time. Hosted at Le Nixon restaurant—and held indoors for the very first time—the reigning champion, who also finished as the second-placed woman at the Grand Finale in Split last August, retained her crown by shattering the national record with an impressive time of 2h 04m 23s.

The 2024 champion, Damien Meullemiestre, finished second in 1h24m02, while Yvan Bertini stepped onto the podium for the first time in 1h20m45, demonstrating incredible progress over the past three editions while also securing the special award for the longest ash for the third consecutive year.
Competitors had conscientiously lit their cigars, but a leading trio quickly broke away during a competition that reflected all the seriousness and respect one expects from an institution as respectable and established as the CSWC by Oliva cigars
At the end of the event, judge Jerome Fontaine-Monetti congratulated all participants for their remarkable sportsmanship. The stage is now set for August, where everyone will rally behind national champion Sabrina as she competes for the World Championship title.
