The atmosphere was electric at the Cigar World Smoking Championship Denmark as enthusiasts gathered to witness the ultimate display of smoking prowess. Once again, Nick Shawnley emerged victorious, reclaiming his title from the previous year in a stunning display of skill and determination.

Defending his crown from 2023, Shawnley faced stiff competition, particularly from top contender Michael Iversen. In the previous year's competition, Shawnley and Iversen engaged in a neck-and-neck battle, with only 27 seconds separating them at the finish line. However, this year, Shawnley widened the gap, keeping his rival at a comfortable 20-minute distance.

For Shawnley, this victory marks his third win, solidifying his status as a true champion of the cigar world. With a winning time of 2 hours, 1 minute, and 4 seconds, Shawnley showcased his mastery of the craft, leaving no doubt about his place at the top.

Organizer Jesper Pedersen's predictions from the previous year proved eerily accurate, with a larger pool of participants and an extended duration required to clinch victory. His foresight, aiming for 60-65 participants and longer smoking durations, became a reality, setting the stage for an exhilarating competition.
