Beautiful new watch collection from Cuervo y Sobrinos named Vuelo

Cuervo y Sobrinos, a company with a history dating back to 1882, has often looked to the past for inspiration when designing new creations. However, the Vuelo models are different.' Vuelo', the Spanish word for 'flight', was the name selected by Cuervo y Sobrinos for its collection of contemporary watches. Indeed, the company describes this family of models as a 'flight to the future'. Each model is imbued with a sporty character, a Latin soul and an extraordinarily elegant appearance.

It's exciting to see and follow our official timekeeper Cuervo y Sobrinos's new ideas and creativity. This new watch collection is stunning, and I am confident that these models will find a market among cigar aficionados, who generally value history and creativity inspired by history. - Marko Bilic, CSWC Founder

Back of the watch with honor to the Emilio Carranza

Captain Emilio Carranza, 22, embarked on a goodwill flight from Mexico City to Washington, D.C. in 1928. Captain Carranza, dubbed the "Lindbergh of Mexico," was already a hometown hero, having completed several record-breaking flights. Sadly, the young aviator would never return to his beloved homeland. His plane, the Excelsior, crashed shortly after takeoff from New York while en route to Mexico. Cuervo y Sobrinos is paying tribute to the pioneering Mexican pilot's legacy with three new Vuelo pilot watches. The Vuelo Emilio Carranza, Vuelo Emilio Carranza Bi-Compax, and Vuelo Emilio Carranza Cronógrafo comprise the trio.
