The Top 20 list of the world’s best smokers for the 2026 season is finally out! Featuring names and countries, hours, minutes, seconds, and positions, this list showcases cigar competitors from around the globe who mastered their skills, stayed focused, tended the fire, and triumphed against time. It’s a mix of famous slow smokers, fresh faces, surprising twists, record-breaking performances, and a few disappointments. All of this reflects the results from three and a half months of the CSWC by Oliva Cigars season.

After just a few prequalification events and several national finals, the list already looks thrilling, with some notable surprises—like the twin times in Norway, which this year dropped by more than an hour. Italian competitors also bring excitement, with a new name and the Italian flag now at the top of the rankings. But this is only the beginning—there’s plenty more drama, competition spirit, and positive energy ahead in the slowest race on the planet.
