The CSWC Season 2023 officially began with a qualification round in Norway, and as you know, it began with an incredible, historical result. Nonetheless, there were three official Time Chase events held in the United Kingdom (two time chase events) and one in Italy in Pescara prior to the first official qualifying. Each of these tournaments had spectacular times, proving that the season will be incredible. Etan Patel, the UK's genuine champion from 2022, set a new personal best and set an outstanding smoking time. Italy had spectacular success, breaking the two-hour smoking limit in Italy after many years, while Norway recorded the history of the CSWC as the best opening of the season ever with 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Other competitors also performed exceptionally well, and we now have a TOP 20 list of the season's finest smokes opened, with incredible and strong times. This is an exciting and challenging list that will be updated frequently to reflect all new times and all movement and excitement that will arise on the TOP 20 list during season, and it will follow sucess of the best competitors. Let's see who can keep their names on the list until the very end, because this list isn't just a list of the best smokers of the season, but it also opens the door to the Grand Final with a wild card option to any name who can keep their position on the top 20 at the end of the season.
